Air Quality framework

This framework sets out how the UK government and devolved governments propose to work together on policies that aim to reduce harmful emissions and concentrations of air pollutants that can damage human health and the environment.

16 November 2022	The Net Zero, Energy, and Transport Committee published its recommendations for the framework in correspondence to the Minister for Environment and Land Reform.
25 October 2022	The Net Zero, Energy, and Transport Committee held an evidence session with environmental regulators on the framework.
14 October 2022	The Net Zero, Energy, and Transport Committee published correspondence from Environmental Standards Scotland relating to the frameworks programme.
15 July 2022	The House of Lords Common Frameworks Scrutiny Committee published its final report on the Common Frameworks programme.
29 June 2022	SPICe published a briefing on the framework.
19 May 2022	The Welsh Senedd Climate Change, Environment, and Infrastructure Committee published correspondence outlining its consideration of the framework(s) to the Convenor of the Scottish Parliament Net Zero, Energy, and Transport Committee.
18 May 2022	The Welsh Senedd Climate Change, Environment, and Infrastructure Committee published a report with recommendations on the framework.
20 April 2022	The Net Zero, Energy, and Transport Committee opened a call for views on the framework.
3 February 2022	The provisional framework was published.
