The Public Health Protection and Health Security framework provides a formal basis and governance structure for collaboration between all parts of the UK on health security and health protection policy. It supports cooperation on issues which require UK-wide approaches, as well as on devolved issues where the sharing of knowledge and expertise is beneficial.

26 November 2021 | The Senedd’s Health and Social Care sent a letter about the framework to the Minister for Health and Social Services for Wales seeking answers to a number of questions about the framework. The Minister responded on 17 January 2022. |
28 October 2021 | The provisional framework was published. |
